NetWork: Team Hub
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how NetWork: Team Hub (“NetWork,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the NetWork mobile application for iPhone and iPad.
Information we collect
We collect information that you provide or create when using NetWork:
- Account information: your name, email address, authentication information, and internal account identifier.
- Organization information: organization names, membership, roles, invitation and join-request records, and uploaded organization logos.
- Team content: announcements, events, event locations, RSVP responses, attendance records, tasks, form responses, and related notes.
- Communications: team-chat and direct-message content, message timestamps, and read status.
- Safety information: blocked-member selections and reports submitted about concerning behavior or content.
- Technical information: limited service and security records needed to operate the application, diagnose errors, and protect accounts.
NetWork does not use advertising trackers and does not sell personal information. Event locations are entered by users; NetWork does not need continuous device-location access to provide its core features.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, organization membership, scheduling, messaging, tasks, RSVP, and attendance features.
- Sync information among authorized members of an organization.
- Enforce role-based permissions and maintain the security and integrity of the service.
- Investigate reports, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
- Maintain and improve reliability and performance.
How information is shared
Information is shared with members of your organization according to the app’s roles and features. For example, team members may see announcements, events, RSVP status, attendance information, tasks, and team-chat messages. Direct messages are limited to their participants.
We use service providers, including Supabase, to provide authentication, database, storage, and related infrastructure. These providers process information on our behalf to operate NetWork. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or others.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide NetWork, maintain organization records, resolve safety or security concerns, and meet legal obligations. Organization content may remain available to the organization after a member leaves. When an account is deleted, personal account information is deleted or de-identified where appropriate, subject to limited backup, fraud-prevention, security, and legal-retention needs.
Your choices and controls
- You may update available profile information from the app.
- You may leave a non-owned organization from Organization settings.
- You may block another member or report a concern from a direct conversation.
- You may permanently delete your account from the app’s account settings. If you are the sole owner of an organization with other members, ownership must first be transferred.
Detailed instructions are available on the Support page.
Security
We use access controls, authenticated sessions, encrypted network connections, and role-based database protections designed to safeguard information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
NetWork is intended for college students and organizations and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to NetWork.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as NetWork changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
